C IS FOR...COMMUNITY

As part of our gala celebrations, we want to highlight some special people and businesses from around the Triangle.

Katie Hayes, Hillsborough

The art in our colorful header and invitation features images from limited edition Durham and Chapel Hill block prints by local artist and writer Katie Hayes.  Katie lives in Hillsborough, and runs a company called New South Pattern House where she sells hand pulled block prints that celebrate the Southeastern US.  You can also find her work at Spoonflower, where she creates whimsical and beautiful repeating patterns for wallpaper, fabric, and home decor.

You will get the chance to bid on Katie's Durham and Chapel Hill block prints plus a private tour and hands-on art lesson at her studio (when Covid safe)!

Dining out with IMS

Support these locally-owned restaurants and IMS, featuring food from three different continents! Spread the word to family, friends and neighbors for some delicious eats, and remember to mention IMS!
